Escape of Detainee

MARGOSATUBIG, Zamboanga Del Sur (July 10. 2018) - Please be informed that at about 2:00 AM of July 8, 2018, one detainee identified as Abdulsalim Modapil Mangongaya aka “Dondon Sanday” male, 36 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Luguimit, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur was discovered missing inside the lock-up cell of said MPS.

The said detainee has a pending case for violation of RA 9165 and upon ocular inspection conducted by Margosatubig MPS, the suspect gained exit by sewing up the iron bar of the back portion of the lock-up cell. 

Margosatubig MPS immediately conducted hot pursuit operation and coordinated with counterparts to wit: ZSPDEA, ZSPPO-PIB, ZSBYPPO-PIB (Alicia-Malangas MPS) and neighboring MPS for the possible arrest of the escapee

Top 2 Drug Suspect of Margosatubig, Arrested

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 8, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Margosatubig Municipal Police Station (NPS) and Zamboanga Del Sur Police Provincial Office (ZSPPO) together with PDEA arrested Top 2 High Value Target (HVT) during the conduct of joint anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation at Kalian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur about 11:00 AM of July 5, 2018. 

Police identified the arrested person as one Abdulsalim Modapil Mangungaya aka “Dondon Sanday/ Duterte (Top 2 HVT of Margosatubig), male, 36 years old, married, born on March 26, 1982, jobless, elementary level and a resident of Sitio, Luguimit, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur.

He was also arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder under criminal case no. 17-161 issued by Presiding Judge Ruben N. Bance of RTC Branch 29, San Miguel Zamboanga Del Sur, with no bail recommended. Said person is a member of Drug Group “Pating”, a drug group operating in the province.

Confiscated from the suspect were one pc Heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (buy-bust), eight pcs heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance believe to be shabu (possession) and a Five Hundred Pesos Bill (P500.00) used as buy-bust money with serial no. DS805227.

Arrested person and evidences recovered were now under the custody of Margosatubig MPS while case for Violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.

Laborer Arrested in Drug Bust

MARGOSATUBIG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 1, 2018) - Combined operatives of Zamboanga Del Sur Drugs Enforcement Unit, PDEA and Margosatubig MPS arrested one person involved illegal drugs during the conduct of anti-illegal drug buy bust operation at Purok Sun flower, Sitio Luguimit, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 PM on June 30, 2018.

Police identified the arrested person as Bruce Lee Hadjigapor Y Bogol (Not included on DI Watch list), male, 27 years old, market laborer by occupation, elementary graduate and resident of Purok Sunflower, Sitio Luguimit, Poblacion, Margosatubig.

Confiscated from his possession and control are the following:

One piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu as buy bust item;

Four pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu in his possession and cash money amounting to (Php500.00), bearing serial number XS243143 as buy bust money.

Subject person is now temporary detained at Margosatubig MPS, while appropriate case for violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court.
