On June 4, 2018 at about 7:15 AM, PNP
personnel of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit together with Margosatubig MPS
conducted a joint drug buy-bust operation at Market Site, Poblacion,
Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur.
The operation resulted to the arrest of
Maimona Edith Berual (Not listed on DI Watchlist), 31 years old, and a resident
of Purok Waterlily, Barangay Luguimit, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del
Sur.
Confiscated during the operation were
one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white
crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (buy-bust), four (4) pieces
heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance
suspected to be shabu (possession) and one (1) piece of five hundred (Php
500.00) peso bill and five (5) pieces one hundred pesos used as marked money.
The Arrested subject person is now
under the custody of Margosatubig MPS for filing of appropriate charges in
court.
